D.G.Gallyamova's book “Kerim Reshidov (Dzhamanakly): The Name in the National History. Crimea – Kazan – Elabuga” is the first experience of a monographic study of the biography of the famous Crimean Tatar scholar, teacher and writer (1905-1965). Kerim Rashidov became known in the Tatar world under the poetic pseudonym Dzhamanakly. The book consists of several parts. The first one contains interesting material on the history of cultural and academic connections between Crimea and Tatarstan. The second part systematizes journalistic activity of the scholar. The third part provides the materials that shed light on the Elabuga stage of Dzhamanakly's life. The book is distinguished by high-quality illustrations and excellent quality of printing.
