A new generation teacher is a project of Elabuga Institute of KFU, aimed at training competitive personnel for an updating education system.

The project "A new generation teacher" is one of the successors of the traditions of educating teachers, laid down during the existence of Elabuga State Pedagogical University and continuing to improve in the modern Elabuga Institute of KFU. This is evidenced by the eight-year history of the project, in which senior students learn the basics of team building; innovation; conduct discussions and speak to the public; improve the skills of scientific work.

To date, the project's graduates work in schools in Kazan, Elabuga, Almetyevsk, Nizhnekamsk, and other cities of the Republic of Tatarstan and Udmurtia. Employers note a high level of psychological preparedness and motivation for work among teachers who have been trained in the project. Graduates of the project make up the personnel reserve not only of the leading schools in the region, but also of the university itself.
