We train experts in linguistics, literature studies, Russian, Tatar and foreign languages (English, French, Spanish, German, Chinese, Turkish, Arabic), interpreting and translating, design and music. We also provide teacher training for students who will work in secondary schools and universities. We offer double majors (ex., Russian + English) and one master program taught in English (Teaching English in Schools and Universities). We grant bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees.

Our institute offers a range of programs for international students interested in learning Russian language, literature and culture. In 2017, our master program in Russian as a Foreign language received international accreditation by Evalag.

Kazan International Linguistic Center

Kazan International Linguistic Center based in the Institute also offers a variety of short-term and long-term courses and programs for those wishing to improve their language skills (in such languages as Russian, Tatar, English, German, French, etc.) or undergo professional development in philology, education or arts. The Center also hosts summer, winter and spring language courses.
