Kazan University Pedagogues Take Part in Scottish Learning Festival

A KFU delegation is in Scotland from September 23rd to 25th with more than a thousand peers from all over the world.

Kazanites are the first delegation from Russia to ever visit this event. This was specifically mentioned by the organizers during the opening ceremony.

The program includes speeches by researchers from the best universities of the world, master classes, training sessions. The booths present newest types of educational equipment, study books, learning games.

The festival is another internship stage for the employees of the Institute of Psychology and Education and the Institute of International Relations, History, and Oriental Studies. Four professors – Aydar Kalimullin, Roza Valeeva, Diana Sabirova, and Agzam Valeev – participate in a high-level international program for leaders in education aimed at sharing and spreading the best practices in European countries.

On September 23rd they presented their reports during the international seminar on multicultural education headed by Dr. Shamil Khairov of University of Glasgow. The following discussion led to the decision to hold a joint UG – KFU research in the CIS countries.
