This paper explores the benefits of CLIL in the context of tertiary education institutions, focusing
on how it enhances linguistic competence, content knowledge, cognitive skills, intercultural awareness, and student motivation. Drawing from a range of empirical studies, theoretical
frameworks, and practical implementations, this article provides an in-depth examination of how CLIL supports academic success and language acquisition simultaneously. The implications for curriculum development, teacher training, and educational policy are also
discussed, with a view to fostering a more integrated and holistic approach to foreign language education in universities and colleges. |
