Annotation On the basis of an approximate two-layer model of a turbulent boundary layer, boiling of liquid emulsions with a superheated dispersed phase near a solid heating surface is considered. Physical concepts of bubble growth in superheated droplets of the dispersed phase are used in the case when the continuous medium remains underheated and does not affect the boiling of the emulsion. The size of the vapor-liquid aggregates is limited by the size when the fragmentation of the initial droplets in the boundary layer does not occur. A comparison is given of model ideas about the nature of the growth of a vapor bubble during boiling of emulsions with a superheated dispersed phase near a heated surface with the available experimental data. The results obtained indicate the acceptability of the obtained model of emulsion boiling.
