The peculiarity of the organization of advanced training at KFU is that each profile institute, in cooperation with Volga Region Center for Advanced Training and Professional Retraining, is responsible for the implementation of additional professional education programs for the relevant categories of pedagogical workers.

In accordance with the weekly schedule, teachers attend courses of further training  not only in Volga Region Center for Advanced Training and Professional Retraining, but also in classrooms and laboratories of KFU institutes.

The university administration implements a persistent policy to modernize the educational and material base of the system of further vocational education through the effective use of equipment, the instrumentation and the methodological base of institutions.
