Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems presented two scientific reports at the XVI IEEE International Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications

The 16th IEEE International Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA 2021) is being held online from 01 to 04 August 2021.

The IEEE ICIEA provides a forum for scientists, researchers, engineers and industrial practitioners around the world to present and discuss the latest advances in technology and future directions and trends in industrial electronics. The conference is organized by the Singapore branch of the industrial electronics IEEE scientific community, Southwest Jiaotong University and the Singapore section of the IEEE.

This year's conference was attended by Alexandra Dobrokvashina, an employee of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS) of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems and a graduate of the master's program «Intelligent Robotics», and Daniel Kiryanov, a graduate of a bachelor's degree in Software Engineering and a student of LIRS. Alexandra presented a scientific article on topic:

«Navigation stack for the crawler robot Servosila Engineer». Authors: Research Assistant Alexandra Dobrokvashina, Assistant Professor Roman Lavrenov, Research Associate Tatyana Tsoy, Edgar A. Martinez-Garcia, Young Bai.

Daniel Kiryanov presented a scientific article on topic:

«Mobile application for controlling multiple robots». Authors: Daniel Kiryanov, Roman Lavrenov, Research Assistant Ramil Safin, Mikhail Svinin, Professor Evgeni Magid.

Alexandra shared her impressions of her speech at the conference:

«It's a pity that this year, due to the circumstances, the conference had to be held online. Nevertheless, the event was organized at a high level, a large number of interesting reports were presented at the conference, albeit in the format of pre-recorded speeches. I really hope that next year the conference will be held in person, and you can listen to the speeches live.»
