Try everything that you are interested in and make yourself better! This is my motto or something that I try to follow. When I studied at school, unfortunately, I did not have many opportunities to develop or to improve my English. Only thanks to my parents and my efforts, I could do my best. I think that I am a fortunate person. One of the reason of this thought is my English teacher. She always suggested me to take part in different competitions.

The most glittering competition for me was a competition in KFU «Bridging languages and cultures», which was held in my current university. I took part in this competition twice. For the first time I got a lot of motivation to be better the next year. Certainly, I got the second prize the next year. I will never forget how relieved I was. The second place was a small victory for me.
This superb competition has various directions. If I had known about it earlier, I would have taken part in all of the directions. Such competitions help school students to achieve their goals or to define them. As for me, this
competition inspired me to study harder. This is excellent! I wish all school students compete in all such events everywhere, because when we are young and full of energy we have to be active and enthusiastic. I am so grateful to KFU for the chances it gave me.

“Discover KFU” was an amazing chance to imagine myself in English speaking country. I was in this camp in my last year at school. Strong-minded teachers, open-minded activity leaders and good people around were some of the things in Discover KFU. Moreover, we had the lessons with the native speaker from Nigeria. His pronunciation was exceptional and complicated for comprehension. However, I am sure that students who are interested in foreign languages should understand different pronunciations and accents. Lessons with him was full of emotions, because he was so cheerful. All teachers in Discover KFU inspired and motivated me. I will never forget such useful grammar lessons with Tatyana Vyacheslavovna Morozova. Furthermore, it will be unthinkable for me to forget such an excellent teacher Farida Finsurovna Shigapova who prepared us for Unified State English exam. Moreover, it will be unimaginable to tell nothing about Latypov Niyaz Rastamovich. His pieces of advice and secrets of English language were so helpful and effective. All of them gave me food for the mind. Their university English teacher’s team group is definitely perfect. I also dream and wish to be part of their intelligent team one day. 

KFU is distinctively a superior place for pupils and students who want to have a good position in our society, because it gives not only necessary knowledge but also life experience. I wish all school students to be in news about Kazan Federal University’s competitions and suggestions. Don’t “sleep”, be the first!!!
