The Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology was visited by a delegation from Samarkand Region on March 15th.

The guests were accompanied by Vice-Premier of Tatarstan Vasil Shaikhraziev. The delegation’s main objective is to attend the Energy and Resource Conservation Expo in Kazan.

Yesterday the Uzbekistani visitors met with President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and toured local companies and points of interest.

They were especially in Eidos LLC – a leading designer of medical simulation equipment in Russia. The firm is headquartered at the KFU Medical Simulation Center. Medical education was also discussed. As was mentioned, Uzbekistan plans to use KFU’s model for its own medical simulation center. Previously it was successfully implemented at Juntendo University in Japan.

Eidos will soon be transferred under KFU's administration. The details are currently being negotiated by the University and the republican government.
