Annotation |
The united theoretical approach based on the extended angular jump model for the hindered molecular motion is used in order to describe the molecular spectra in single crystals, powders and liquids. The consecutive derivation of new analytical expressions describing quantitatively relative NMR-relaxation rates and intensities of homogeneously broadened spectral lines observed by dielectric, infrared, Raman, Rayleigh, and incoherent neutron spectroscopy techniques is presented. Accounting for two point symmetry groups, the symmetry group of the hindered molecular motion and that of the molecule site, distortion inclusively, enhances the power of the theory. The hindered molecular motion adapted to the crystallographic point symmetry groups handles the angular autocorrelation functions and, hence, the transformation property of molecular variables. Two dynamical quantities of the model, the symmetrized correlation times and the dynamical weights of hindered molecular motion states, expl |
