Annotation DNA sensors belong to biosensors utilizing native DNA and oligonucleotides as biorecognition elements. In the review, the design of DNA sensors is considered and illustrated by particular examples of their application in accordance with target analytes and measurement mode. Most attention is paid to electrochemical DNA sensors but some examples of other techniques including fluorescence probes and quartz crystal microbalances are given
Keywords DNA sensor, biosensor, hybridization, DNA intercalator, DNA damage, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy
