    Annotation A theorem on the necessity and sufficiency of fulfilling the condition of vorticity jump at the interface for the Stokes–Brinkman model of flow in a homogeneous region with porous inclusions is proven. The quantitative agreement of drag forces calculated by integrating stresses over the surface of a porous body in Stokes and Brinkman models is provided for this condition
