dc.description.abstract	Teaching writing at the university level is an essential and complex task. It involves equipping students with the necessary skills to communicate effectively, think critically, and engage in scholarly conversations. Writing is defined as the process of written expression of thoughts and as the speech activity associated with visible speech. Learning to write is the acquisition of the ability to combine words in writing in order to express one's thoughts in accordance with the needs of communication, to communicate in writing using a specific language. Written foreign language is currently often used by students in modern means of communication, such as the Internet, e-mail, and others. And, based on this, written speech helps students develop speech-thinking and cognitive activity. A strong emphasis on writing instruction benefits students across various disciplines, enabling them to succeed academically and professionally. In this article, we will discuss the importance of teaching writing at university and explore effective strategies for helping students become proficient writers. Throughout our pedagogical work processes and analysis of the relevant resources the following methodology was used: the method of analysis and synthesis of theoretical material on the topic, description, design of the use of written language in the educational process at the stage of basic general education, which have helped us identify a few strategies for university instructors to effectively teach writing: providing clear expectations; incorporating writing into the curriculum; offering constructive feedback; promoting peer collaboration; utilizing writing resources and technology; and demonstrating effective writing. The result of the strategies included implementation of individual approach to students and their critical thinking development with the use of computer. Thus, universities should provide ample opportunities for students to receive individualized attention and feedback from their instructors, integrating educational technology in the classroom. This can be achieved through one-on-one consultations, writing workshops, or small group discussions.	ru_RU
