The authors proposed a method for evaluating the relationship of eco-industrial parks with circular economy technologies. The novelty of the study was the introduction of the term of the index of specialization of circular economy technologies for eco-industrial parks. It was based on four types of circular economy technologies: waste recycling, industrial symbiosis, water resource efficiency, renewable energy. The authors proposed an algorithm for calculating the technology specialization index. The author's method was the correlation analysis of 15 regions at the 2021. These regions are owners of patents of technologies for the collection, sorting and recycling of polymer waste. Eco-industrial parks are interconnected with circular economy technologies. The correlation coefficient was 0.70 rel.units. The balance of demand (from eco-industrial parks) and supply (from technology developers) was formed only for waste treatment technologies as of 2021. The technique of the industrial symbiosis in industrial parks is developed at an average level. This correlation coefficient was 0.52 rel.units. For the rest, the market of the technologies of the circular economy (the water efficiency and the renewable energy) is just beginning to form as of 2021. To achieve the sustainable development goals, it is necessary to implement the full range of circular economy technologies in eco-industrial parks. |
