dc.description.abstract	This article is devoted to the analysis of lexical and semantic features of the military terminology translation on the example of E. Hemingway «A Farewell to Arms« novel text and the text of its translation into Russian. Lexical units of different parts of speech were selected by the continuous sampling method. In the course of the study, it was found that the most representative in the linguistic picture of the writer's world were substantive lexemes. Verbal military terminology, on the contrary, turned out to be the least popular by the author of the work. All the features of contextual usage of military terminology, both nouns and verbs, were reflected in the translation interpretation using the calquing methods and semantic translation.	ru_RU
