    Annotation This course contributes to the systematic study of the methods of strategic management by students studying in the direction 38.03.02 «Management«. The seminar is intended for practical training in strategic management and allows you to apply theoretical knowledge in the process of researching a strategic position and developing measures to improve this position using the example of specific organisations. The teaching aid contains questions for study, control questions, practical tasks and cases, tasks for work in groups and tests. Control questions and tests are designed to test the quality of mastering the lecture material, and cases and tasks allow you to assess the ability to apply knowledge and skills in practice, as well as master the skills of developing, analysing and justifying the management and financial strategies of an organisation, modelling planning and forecasting their activities aimed at creating competitive business models, technological and product innovations, making effective investment decisions, taking into account market and specific risks. A student who has mastered the discipline (module) must have the following competencies: ПК-3 - He is able to possess the skills of developing, analyzing and justifying managerial and financial strategies of an organization, modeling planning and forecasting their activities aimed at forming competitive business models, technological and product innovations, making effective investment decisions taking into account market and specific risks. Student who has mastered the discipline (module): Must know: - theoretical foundations of strategic management, the process of developing and implementing an organization's strategy, various classifications of strategies, conditions for implementing the strategy and methods of monitoring the implementation of the strategy - functional strategies of companies and their interrelation, methods of portfolio analysis, conditions for the application of various strategies, their advantages, disadvantages and risks. Must be able to: - apply methods of strategy development and implementation, express your vision, ideas, ideas and ensure effective communication, detect the impact of the external environment on the definition of goals and strategies for the development of the organization, analyze examples of practical application of strategies at Russian and foreign enterprises, develop an organization strategy using strategic management tools; - to carry out balanced strategic management, plan and implement measures aimed at implementing the strategy, evaluate the effectiveness of strategic management. Must own: - skills of strategic analysis, terminological apparatus of the discipline «Strategic management«, methods of conducting competitive and portfolio analysis, methods of developing alternative strategies; - methods of analysis and strategic decision-making, methods of managerial decision-making.
