A person spends almost 6 years of his life on treatment of acute respiratory diseases (ARI) and their consequences. Influenza and other acute respiratory diseases are the most widespread among children and adults and
account for about 90% of the total infectious disease burden. Influenza epidemics, a pandemic of new coronavirus
infection are an urgent medical and socio-economic problem. In particular, the time when mass diseases occur and
the structure of viral strains are difficult to predict. In addition, it should be taken into account that the expansion
of traffic flows and contacts among the population, as well as the trend towards globalization leads to a rapid
spread of viral infection within the limits of not only one country but also several continents. That is why in
megacities, where the population density is significantly higher than the national average, the incidence is highest.
