Today, many companies use various non-seismic methods of prospecting and exploration for oil and gas such as geophysical, geological and geochemical methods, not only for economic reasons, but also due to their high efficiency and rapidity. The paper describes a new modular methodology for oil and gas prospecting. The technology is based on the fundamental provisions that hydrocarbons are young enough, they cannot exist for a long time in the sedimentary cover, their age usually does not exceed several million years to the first tens of million years, and neotectonic movements significantly influenced the formation and reformation of oil in the sedimentary cover. The novelty of the technology lies not only in the integration of methods different in their foundations, field surveys and interpretation, but also in the modularity of the technology. Depending on the degree of knowledge, geological, geomorphological, geochemical conditions at the area of the proposed surveys and depending on the type of geological tasks being solved, individual modules can be excluded or transformed. |
