Annotation |
The study of a method for controlling the structural integrity of monolithic
polycarbonate under cyclic loads is presented in the article. In particular, the influence of external
cyclic loads on crack formation in polycarbonate was determined. The carried out experimental
studies have shown the structural changes in polycarbonate (the appearance of microdefects) can
be detected by a decrease in the level of the piezoelectric voltage amplitude U compared to the
initial level by ~25% for more than 104 load cycles. |
