Annotation

The article discusses topical issues related to the development of the infrastructure of sports and physical culture in the regions of the Volga Federal District. In the process of analyzing the social and economic indicators of Russian regions, it is important to take into account the influence of infrastructure. It is necessary to take into account the factors of the development of sports and physical culture, the level of provision of the regions with objects of sports infrastructure in the process of forming the regional socio-economic and budgetary policy. This is due to the fact that sport has a significant impact on the level and quality of life of the population of the Russian regions. The goal is to systematize the scattered knowledge in the field of methodological approaches to assessing the impact of the provision of sports infrastructure facilities on the socio-economic indicators of Russian regions. This will allow developing recommendations for improving regional policy. Based on the methods of theoretical research (analysis and synthesis, generalization), a review of the scientific literature is carried out, the main elements characterizing the degree of influence of the sports infrastructure on the regional economy are determined.
