Seismic exploration is the main geophysical method in the study of the deep structure of the Earth, prospecting and exploration of minerals. She is the main source of geological information. The first step in seismic r esearch is the planning and design of the observation system. Surveillance system design is often done using outdated area data. This leads to the fact that the position of the design seismic lines will be seriously corrected in the future. It is necessary to use all the possibilities to update all the information available to the geophysicist about the place of work: topographic maps, forest taxation schemes, maps of agricultural land, space images, aerial photography results. With regard to the relevance of the information for survey design, another aspect is added - this is how the profile mesh will be edited. Usually, in the area of work there are exclusive zones in which, for one reason or another, it is impossible to locate reception points or excitation points. Taking them into account when designing an observation system affects the organization of field work and the quality of the obtained seismic material. Thus, the design surveillance system is subject to editing, and the resulting survey becomes far from the original. |
