  • Bibliographic description in the original language Bacterial extracellular RNases are secreted mainly by representatives of the genus Bacillus, which have been isolated from various ecological niches. Many RNases have antiviral and antitumor effects. Therefore, the search for new producers of extracellular RNases is a very urgent task. Recently, much attention has been paid to microorganisms that can live in extreme conditions. The Laptev Sea is the harshest water reservoir in the Arctic. This is one of the marginal seas of the Arctic Ocean, located between the Taimyr Peninsula and the New Siberian Islands. As for most regions of the Arctic, there are insufficient data in the literature on the composition of microbial communities in this region. Most research is related only to the study of the functioning of planktonic microbial communities, while data on the microbial community of bottom sediments are completely absent.
