    Annotation The scolex external morphology of Grillotia erinaceus is characterized by four invaginable armed tentacles and two pairs of flexible bothria. The tentacle surface lacks microtriches and has pores. The fourth hook has bifurcation on the tip. Scolex possesses distinct surface differentiation and polymorphism of the attachment structures, i.e. hooks and microtriches.
