The article is devoted to the comparative study of clichéd vocabulary in Russian and Arabic speech etiquette on the example of the «Request for help« intention.
The work uses materials obtained through an online survey of foreign students with a native Arabic language in the «Request for help« situation.
Based on the empirical data obtained during the experiment, as well as our own linguistic observation, we analyzed the universal and specific generally accepted Russian and Arabic cliché phrases used in the “Request for help” situation. The experiment involved students of the preparatory department and 1-2 courses students of the basic educational programs Kazan Federal University and its branch, as well as the Kazan National Technical University named after A.N. Tupolev (63 Arab students).
The work's relevance is the identification alomorphic and isomorphic linguistic features of two different types of languages on the clichéd vocabulary example, regularly used in the “Request for help” situation, based on the linguistic consciousness analysis of the emerging bilinguals.
The practical significance of this article is primarily due to the linguistic and cultural adaptation of Arab foreign students in the Russian language environment, as well as the ability of Russian speakers to join a different language culture, avoiding errors in interference. |
