The article presents the results of the use of fluorescence diagnostics and photodynamic therapy in the diagnosis and
treatment of intradermal metastases of breast cancer. It was investigated 29 patients with such diagnosis. The photosensitize r Photolon
was used for fluorescence diagnostics and photodynamic therapy. When using fluorescent diagnostics, 24% more skin lesions were
detected than when examined under natural and artificial light. As a result of treatment, complete regression of metastatic f oci was obtained in 60% of cases, partial - in 30%, stabilization - in 6.67%, progression was recorded in 3.3% of cases. The results obtained ind icate that the use of fluorescence diagnostics and photodynamic therapy methods influence positively for the detection and tre atment of metastatic foci of breast cancer. |
