The study explores the problem of assessing text complexity. In this paper we focus on measuring conceptual complexity and propose using knowledge graphs to this end. On the first stage of the research,
RuThes-Lite thesaurus, a linguistic knowledge base with a total size of over 100,000 text entries (words
and collocations), was used to elicit concepts in the texts of schoolbooks and represent text fragments
as graphs. |
