The aim of this paper is to analyze the most common features of a digital educational course (DEC), and show the process of its creation and implementation. For these purposes, a DEC “Practical English language course” for students of Kazan University (Russia), majoring in Linguistics, has been created. The course has a modular architecture, each module having a recognizable structure and particular set of sections. It is supplemented by thematic video, tests, news boards, forums and chats. The methodology of the work is based on the comparative analysis of behaviorism, constructivism and connectivism theories and communicative, collaborative and competence-based approaches. The results of the work can be used by teachers, educators and e-learners. |
