dc.description.abstract	The article systematizes the material about the reception of Abay's (Ibragim Kunanbayev) creativity (1845-1904) in the Tatar culture. The chronological framework of the study covers the period in 1908-2020. The work of the great poet is considered in the context of the relationship between Kazakh and Tatar literature. Materials on the existence of Abay's works in the Tatar language, mentions of his name and heritage in the works of Tatar scientists are revealed. The research was based on articles by Tatar scientists and writers in periodicals, dictionaries, collections of scientific conferences, and monographs. Collections of Abay's works in the Tatar language are briefly described. The circle of translators of his works is defined. Reviews of the quality of translations of Abay's poems into the Tatar language are systematized. The role of translations, anniversary and scientific articles in popularizing Abay's work among Tatar readers is revealed. The article pays close attention to the works of G. Ibragimov, Z. Ramiev, Kh. Minnegulov, A. Mashakova and other scientists who took Abay's works in the sphere of their scientific interests. The article includes an extensive bibliography of sources and works on the topic stated in the title.	ru_RU
