Annotation

The article is devoted to identifying the most important causes for the formation and manifestation of delinquent behaviour of minors: insufficient material security, dysfunctional environment of a minor outside the family; boredom to learn, to stay in the family; inability to build relationships and overcome them, especially protracted conflicts with one's immediate peers; indifference to anti-social behaviour by elders, parents or persons in charge; lack of any useful hobbies, lack of previous legal literacy. Based on the analysis of the causes, recommendations have been provided to educators to help prevent such behaviour.
