The structure of magnetic microspherules from impactites, evaporites, and bog
peat was investigated using scanning electron microscopy and X-ray microtomography.
All microspheres had a metallic luster and a textured surface. The
natural origin of the studied microspherules was proven. The chemical
composition of microspherules was studied; their major elements were iron
and oxygen. |
