Annotation Here, we first have shown that RNase from Bacillus pumilus (binase) acts as an antiviral agent at the level of the whole animal organism infected by Mammalian orthoreovirus 1 strain Lang (TL1). The results obtained on the mice model infected with 10 LD50 and 20 LD50 doses of reovirus indicate the restoration of mice physiological parameters under binase treatment at the dose of 50 μg/mouse. Thus, our research supports the relevance of binase as a promising antiviral agent that affects viral RNA.
