Annotation |
The article discusses the management aspects of the digital transformation of business and shows that fundamental reengineering of business processes will be successful only in the case of professional leadership and execution of tasks. The authors consider the digital transformation of business as a special task requiring fundamental reengineering of processes, goals, and objects. Despite the fact that reengineering itself is drastic rethinking, restructuring, etc., its meaning can be intentionally strengthened by using the term «fundamental«, emphasizing the importance of the transformations that are taking place. The article poses the question: is digital transformation really fundamental reengineering of business processes, a fundamental change in the business model or another tribute to fashion, are the business, company management and employees ready for such changes? The aim of the study is to develop practical recommendations to create the conditions for the successful digital transformation of business processes in a company aimed at improving the efficiency of its activities, based on the study and generalization of theoretical and practical experience in implementing the provisions of fundamental business reengineering. As a result, the authors have developed a cycle of strategic transformations that contribute to the successful digital transformation of business. |
