dc.description.abstract	This article focuses on the problem of studying the modern language situation in India, in particular in cyberspace and mass media. The article attempts to classify the use of languages in the Internet resources and mass media in the territory of modern India. The aim of the research is to study the linguistic situation of India in cyberspace and in mass media through the method of quantitative analysis. The object of the study is the complexity of the modern language situation in India. The subject of the research is the number of major official languages of India in various sources of cyberspace and mass media. The urgency of the problem under consideration is supported by focus of modern sociolinguistics on the study of language changes dynamics, bilingualism, interlanguage interference. The language policy of a multinational state is aimed at ensuring the balance of the language picture in accordance with the national interests of the state.	ru_RU
