dc.description.abstract	This article observes one of the main problems of social security and public health: that of the threats and benefits of radiation. The natural source of it, gas named radon, produces both; thus both sorts of its influence are examined. The author holds the hypothesis according to which radiation hormesis (small doses bringing benefit), though real, should be investigated more thoroughly, taking into account the data of evil influence of small doses taken during long periods of time. The proportion of threats and benefits has to be studied more carefully	ru_RU
