The article discusses the universities of Latin America as the World cultural heritage. Currently four University campuses have been inscribed on the List of the World cultural heritage of UNESCO, two of them are situated in Latin America. The author examines the relationship between Latin American countries and UNESCO, defines the specificity of the inclusion and functioning of University campus in Venezuela and Mexico. A leading research method is the comparative analysis. Its aim is to identify common and special approaches to preservation and development of the University campuses according to the requirements of UNESCO. The article will be useful for a wide range of specialists |
