The article discussed the specifics of the functioning of the typical mechanisms of re-gional self-regulated organizations to support small businesses in the economy of the Russian Federation. In order to improve the mechanism for the activities of the regional self-regulatory organization to support small business, more complete implementation of the system of statutory functions for the development of small businesses in the re-gion, improve the level of sustainability to fluctuations of the external environment, it is important to evaluate the nature of the influence on the development of a self-regulating organization significant external financial and economic factors. The paper suggests a mechanism for managing regional self-regulating organizations to support small busi-nesses that actively influence the related regional markets, which allow increasing the effectiveness of small business development in the region. The main differences in the approach considered in the article was the asset manage-ment of the fund by regional authorities, a regional self-regulatory organization to sup-port small businesses and private co-investors. Such as: the possibility of attracting part of the savings of households in the region (under the state guarantees) for co-financing the fund's activities, differentiating the fund's activities into venture, conservative sub-funds and the external funding subfund and the mechanism of the fund's future exit to the organized securities market. In the development of methodological support for the improvement of the management mechanism of regional self-regulating organizations, a methodology for assessment the nature of the influence of significant external financial and economic factors is pro-posed, which allows developing recommendations on improving the activities of self-regulating organizations in the regional segment of small business on the basis of com-paring the actual parameters of influence with the benchmarks. The developed method-ology may be used both to study the specifics of the development of a separate regional self-regulating organization and the sector of self-regulating organizations of the region as a whole. The method for determining the most priority areas of the activities of re-gional self-regulatory organizations to support small businesses is substantiated. It al-lows to identify the most relevant areas of support for small business entities in the region's economy based on the synthesis of the methodological tools of the index ap-proach and correlation analysis. Based on the proposed method, it is possible to determine the main priority areas for the activities of regional self-regulatory organizations to support small businesses. In the course of the research, it was determined by the need for partial modernization of the forms of direct financing of small business development in the regional economy, acti-vation of interaction between self-regulating organizations and credit organizat |
