The core task of management is to improve the effectiveness in things that are subject to management. Management activities are implemented through decision-making. In addition, taking into account the trends and dynamics of change in business environment features, it is fundamental to understand why people make certain decisions, and why they act in one way or another. These questions are studied by the psychological decision theory, which offers an intensively developing direction in the theory of decision-making. This article describes the mechanisms of how humans perceive information, the factors that influence decision-making, as well as the role of sociocultural factors in the process of making and implementing managerial decisions as one of the significant groups of factors of management adaptation and transformation. |
