    Annotation The purpose of the study is to identify the factors that determine significant changes in contemporary conditions. The authors believe that characteristics of the human capital are one of the basic groups of factors initiating adaptation and transformation of management of social and economic systems. Effective management in 'raplex' (rapid and complex) business environment needs management of changes, respectively, knowledge of the root causes (factors) causing changes. Transformation of management in a cyclic mode is conditioned by laws and principles of social sciences, and adaptation to environmental factors, keeping required level of stability, is a condition for competitiveness in the raplex business environment.
