    Annotation Nowadays, despite the availability of actual material and scientific publications dealing with certain aspects of communicative culture, a complex and comparative- contrastive linguistic study considering the issues of ethnocultural stereotypes of communicative behavior of the Turkic peoples is relevant in modern linguistics. Within the framework of this article, the research was carried out on the basis of the paroemiological units of the Tatar and Turkish languages. The study used descriptive, stylistic and comparative-contrastive methods. The methodological basis of the study is also the linguoculturological, cognitive-linguistic aspects of the study of paroemiological units. In the course of the study, typical and specific characteristics of ethnocultural stereotypes expressing the uniqueness of the Tatar and Turkish cultures were revealed.
