    Annotation This paper deals with the international problems caused by the disintegration of the bipolar system of international relations and the new foreign policy strategy the United States of America has developed in these conditions. The paper reveals the main trends of the foreign policy of the United States of America, starting from the 90s of the XX century to the present day. The study of this problem primarily uses systemic approach, which makes it possible to more fully reveal the picture of the studied subject from different perspectives, using a whole range of various scientific methods. The results of the study show that the American foreign policy strategy during the period under review was based on the principle of absolute and global domination of one state in the form of the United States and was aimed at maintaining and strengthening the unipolar world.
