Annotation Darcian flows in homogeneous layers generated by line-point emitters are modeled by sources of constant intensity. , Laplace's equation governs flow in saturated-tension-saturated soils. In a layer of low capillarity a phreatic surface and layer-substratum interface of constant vertical component of velocity bound the flow domain. Using hodograph (conformal mappings of polygons), an explicit solution of the Riemann boundary value problem is obtained. The free surface is found for various values of source strengths, its elevation above the substratum and the ratio of hydraulic conductivities.
