dc.description.abstract	The article is devoted to an important problem of the modern society - the formation of tolerance. The theme of tolerance is one of the most current in the context of the formation of the humanist worldview and, of course, in the context of globalization processes in the world today. From the authors' point of view, one of the most effective methods of formation of tolerant thinking is the technology of cooperative learning. The aim of the article is to determine experimentally the influence of the Singapore model of the cooperative learning on the formation of schoolchildren tolerance. The methodological basis of the study became the theory of the activity approach in education, multicultural education, the theory of the formation of tolerance. The main methods of research were the analysis of theoretical sources, pedagogical experiment. The article reveals theoretical positions related to the meaning, structure, levels and criteria of the formation of tolerance; necessary conditions	ru_RU
