Annotation The assessment of non-carcinogenic risk from chemicals ingested with drinking water included the peroral, skin and inhalation routes of contact with water for children aged 3-6 years old living in 4districts (zones) of the city of Kazan. The calculation of daily doses was carried out with the account of regional exposure factors (REF) at the median (Ме) and the 95th percentile (95Per) levels. The peroral route of the chemicals? entry with drinking water (65.8% ? 82.6%) caused by 32.9 - 54.71 % of the oil products in the 2nd and the 4th zones makes a major contribution to the total non-carcinogenic risk. The inhalation route makes from 16.01% to 33.2 % and is caused by chloroform (65.4%) in all zones, the proportion of the skin route being insignificant ? from0.5% to1.1%. The ingestion of chemicals with drinking water in different zones in the city of Kazan implies alert and high levels of the non-carcinogenic health risk for the child population.
