Annotation

The relevance of the research problem due to the fact that the twentieth century will intensify research in the field of culture relating to the cultural and historical interaction or dialogue of cultures, including the problem of «borderland of cultures« is most clearly manifested in Latin American cultural space. The article aims to identify regional, Latin American, specific historical and cultural boundaries by examining the major conceptual approaches to Latin American humanitarian thought in the second half of the twentieth century. A leading approach to the study of this problem is the method of comparative study aimed to analyse and compare the research experience in the Latin American humanitarian washed. The main results of the article reflect trends in the development of the problem of «borderland of cultures« in contemporary Latin American scientific thought and provide them on the basis of the attempt to justify the historical and cultural specifics of the development of t
