    Annotation The interest to the problem of adaptation is determined by the investigations of the capacities of human resources to overcome difficult life situations. This article aims to discuss the hypothetical ideas of individual determinants of the coping with difficult situations, the mechanisms of change of personality with stable individual characteristics of “autonomy” and “sociotropy”.
