Polypedilum vanderplanki is the most complex organism able to survive desiccation. P. vanderplanki genome contains both common insect thioredoxin (TRX) genes and TRX genes specific for this insect [1]. We test our hypothesis that P. vanderplanki-specific TRX genes and common insect TRX genes differ in their regulation. The aim: to compare DNA motifs in regulatory sequences of TRX genes in P. vanderplanki genome. |
