dc.description.abstract	The main task of the study is the reflection of the Tatar national culture by Tatar lexis. The words which are active since the Old Turkic language period till nowadays were chosen as the object of study. They are 'tash' (stone), 'тимер' (iron), 'altin' (gold). On the basis of these lexical units the author demonstrated the using of these lexical units as the part of phraseologisms (idioms), proverbs and sayings, also as the onomastic vocabulary with metaphorical meanings and their participation in the generation of associations. The investigation showed the linguistic nature and national connotations of these words.	ru_RU
