dc.description.abstract	Expression ofvasoactiveintestinalpeptide(VIP),neuronalnitricoxidesynthase(nNOS),choline acetyltransferase (ChAT)andcalcitoningene-relatedpeptide(CGRP)inthesympatheticgangliawas investigated byimmunohistochemistryinthesuperiorcervicalganglion(SCG),stellateganglion(SG) and celiacganglion(CG)fromcatsofdifferentages(newborn,10-day-old,20-day-old,30-day-oldand 2-month-old). Non-catecholaminergicTH-negativeVIP-immunoreactive(IR)andnNOS-IRsympathetic ganglionic neuronsarepresentfromthemomentofbirth.Inallstudiedagegroups,substantialpopu- lations ofVIP-IR(upto9.8%)andnNOS-IRcells(upto8.3%)wasfoundintheSG,withamuchsmaller population foundintheSCG(<1%)andonlyfewcellsobservedintheCG.ThepercentageofnNOS-IR and VIP-IRneuronsintheCGandSCGdidnotsignificantlychangeduringdevelopment.	ru_RU
