dc.description.abstract	The article provides the analysis of the definition of a structured financial product, defines the role of structured financial products as a tool for financial engineering, the types and basic strategy of using structured products are revealed. It is noted that the list of tools that are used in the construction of structured financial products is limited. It is proposed to expand the list of the basic components of a structured financial product for the development of financial engineering capabilities. The article provides innovative structured financial products - convertible depositary receipt, which will implement a moderately aggressive investor strategy. The essence of this instrument will lie in the fact that the investor acquires the depositary receipts for shares, which is incorporated right for conversion of depositary receipts in convertible bonds.
